I wish that the Northeast refinery utilization could rise. In NJ we are enjoying prices south of $3 again, but can that continue?

low 2.90's in Toledo, Ohio and 2.70's in Missouri. Remember back in May when it was over $ 4.00 and the naysayers (same crowd as in July 2008) was predicting $ 5.00 by Labor Day. FIRE THOSE INCOMPETENT PREDICTORS.

Another report by another federal government organization which tells us what our petroleum inventories are. Another waste of money and a duplication of effort.

That's alright they are about $0.80 above where demand would place them in an uncontrolled market.

the U.S. exported 336,000bpd of gasoline and 881,000bpd of distillates. In total, U.S. refineries exported 2.5 million barrels per DAY of oil and products!"
How are we to get off foreign oil if we continue to export oil and gasoline? The same goes for Ethanol exports! Gasoline shot up here 30 cents a gallon today at all stations! Talk about manipulation of supply!

I guess, in the big picture, the US needs to export more oil in order to afford the oil we import ?!?
