Then again and numbers can show whatever you want

e 85 is cheaper yes but it doesn't have as much stored energy as gasoline. you have to use more e85 to go the same distance as a gallon of gas would get you. you end up spending the same amount of money. the only thing you do by running e85 is pollute a little less and burn more fuel. e85 is a waste of time and resource IMHO.

Last weekend in Minneapolis MN I stopped at a Holiday gas station and was surprised that the gas prices for regular non lead was 3.09/gallon. I had been driving around the area and the cheapest price I saw was 3.16/ gallon. I had been looking for E-85 for my Equinox but E-85 is harder to find.

This is the mist ridiculous thing ever!! Unemployment rates are lower because of all the seasonal jobs that were added, come January when those seasonal employees are laid off the unemployment rate will sky rocket once again!!!!! So raising oil/gas prices is a crock! And a huge move in the wrong direction.

Many of the seasonal jobs that reduced the unemployment rate will disappear at the end of the month, and labor reports will state, unemployment rates unexpectedly increased in January!

To LSU_TIGERS_dmb, All-Star Author in Louisiana: The United States is the world's 3rd largest oil producer of oil. It's about time some ignorant people just stop posting when they know nothing of which they write.

No really. What would you think they'd do? Plummet?
That'll happen when people finally recognize there is no difference among DC politicians.

The unemployment numbers are manipulated. They have decided not to count some unemployed due to the fact that they have given up looking for work. Need to create jobs, not manipulatte numbers. The oil industry is a good place to start

I sure hope not yet as the World economy is still in the pits and needs all the help it can get. High fuel prices will not help.

“I cannot beleive [sic] anyone would vote democrate [sic] . . .”
Consider the alternatives. With a couple of exceptions the Republican candidates are either clowns or crazy people. Who out of this carnival will ultimately be nominated?

I did not expect it to last long, and it hasn't. Still waiting on it to cross into the upper $3 and $4 a gallon range again.

They will always find a reason to raise the price of gas. It is Friday, so let's raise the price of gas; or it is the 3rd full moon, let's raise the price of gas.
